Carl Arnold Andersen

Carl Arnold Andersen of Brookhaven, GA passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2026, at the age of 79.

He was born on February 24, 1947, in Racine, Wisconsin, to Harold Andersen and Sylvia Lueckfeld. He married Geraldine Harper in 1969, and together they shared many wonderful years before she preceded him in death in 1996.

Carl proudly served in the United States Army, a service that remained an important part of his life and reflected his dedication to his country.

Carl enjoyed talking on the phone with his sister, Connie Bowen, who preceded him in death, and spending time with his friends and neighbors. During his retirement years he developed a friendship with his neighbor Linda Brown. He also enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and was known for being an animal lover.

He is survived by his siblings, Gordon, Barbra, Dora, Richard, and Harold. Carl also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Per Carl's wishes, he was cremated and will be interred at Georgia National Cemetery with Military Honors.
