Betty Bergwin Henshall

Betty Ann Bergwin Henshall, 88, passed peacefully from her life on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Wellstarr Hospice in Marietta. She was married to George James Henshall, Sr. for 68 years. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Betty was a resident of Marietta, Georgia and served in the United States Navy during World War II. Prior to retirement she was employed as an insurance adjuster. Betty was preceded in death by her son Stephen David Edgar Henshall of Orlando, Florida and grandson Jeffrey Scott Henshall of Pensacola, Florida. She is survived by two children, George James, Henshall, Jr. of Pensacola, Florida and Katherine Henshall Barton of Fairhope, Alabama. She had five grand children, 12 great-grand children and one great-great grand child. Betty will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia on Friday, January 4, 2013, in the afternoon at a time to be announced.
