Betty Jane Billings

Betty J. Billings, age 77, died on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Center in Atlanta, GA after a year-long battle with oral cancer. She was born in Utica, NY March 31, 1940 to Clarence and Dorothy Dashnow.
Betty is survived by her 3 sons – Roger, Kevin and Stuart Billings, 2 daughters – Cindy Ashworth and Sheila Billings Long, her sister Shirley Curcio and 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Clarence Dashnow, her son, Matthew Billings and her granddaughter, Chrystal Billings.
Betty worked hard all her life and loved people, Italian food and red wine. Wherever she went she could quickly light up a room and put a smile on every face. She reached out to anyone in need and offered whatever she could to make the situation better. She has a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by her children.
