Bette Clunen

Bette Clunen – born Bette Volpe on July 22, 1941 – departed for her heavenly residence on July 8th, 2024. She was happily married for 60 years to her beloved husband, John “Jack” Francis Clunen (1941 – 2023). Bette is survived by her children, Linda (Doug) Hughes, Ree (Tony) Aguirre; 5 grandchildren: Denise (Dereck) Heim, Ryan (Michelle) Wood, Taylor (Sara) Aguirre, Kayla (Adam) Black and Doug Hughes, Jr.; and 4 great-grandchildren; Alyssa, Luke, Harper and Isaac.

Bette was a faithful, life-long Catholic parishioner devoted to her faith, family and friends. Additionally, she was an accomplished cook, Bingo enthusiast and loyal Braves fan. Her zest for life was radiant and those of us blessed to really know her were happier because of it.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Good Shephard Catholic Church, 3740 Holtzclaw Road, Cumming, GA 30041.
