Barbara Wilson Youtt, 84, died May 20 in Atlanta. She was born on September 3, 1933 in Auburn, NY. She was one of five children of Fred H. Wilson and Katherine (McKendrick) Wilson. She was married to William F. Youtt of Auburn for over 61 years. She graduated from East High School and began work at the National Bank of Auburn before becoming a wife and mother. Paramount to her were her Catholic faith and her family. She is survived by her brother Peter M. Wilson of Rome, NY, and her sister Ruth W. Shablak of Middletown, OH, and by three children Ann Y. Telford (Mac) of Duluth, Peter F. Youtt (Dena) of Plano, TX, and Michael W. Youtt (Salli) of Houston, TX, and by nine grandchildren: John Telford, Elizabeth (Telford) Sullivan, Emma Youtt, George Youtt, Henry Youtt, Annmarie Youtt, William T. Youtt, Louisa Youtt and Amelia Youtt. She is predeceased by her son William J. Youtt, her brother James F. Wilson, and her sister Joan (Wilson) Walsh. A funeral Mass for her soul will occur Thursday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m. with a reception afterward, at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, where Barbara and husband Bill were founding members. She will be buried next to her son in Arlington Cemetery in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society 2050-C Chamblee-Tucker Road Atlanta, GA 30341.
