Barbara Vail Brown

Barbara Vail Brown peacefully joined her beloved husband, Cullen Nash Brown, in heaven on March 9, 2026.

Barbara’s life was a testament to love, faith, friends, and family. She leaves behind cherished memories held by her daughter, Debora E. Brown; son, Peter C. Brown; five grandchildren, Blair Gowasack, Taylor Head, Jordan Sprinkle, Alaina Brown, and Benjamin Brown; and seven great grandchildren. Her legacy will continue to inspire those she loved. Barbara graduated from Avondale High School and South Georgia College. She was a medical assistant for over forty years, a Tucker High School band booster for more than ten years, and loved being at the R-Ranch in Dahlonega, Georgia.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur, Georgia on April 11, 2026 at 1 pm.
