Walter Jackson Sims, Jr.

Walter (Jack) Jackson Sims, Jr, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2018, after a courageous battle with a long term respiratory illness. A native Atlantan, he was born January 26, 1934 to Walter Jackson Sims, Sr. and Martha Frances Dodd. Jack attended Roosevelt Highschool and Davidson College in North Carolina. He had a long and successful career with GoldKist Corp. as a Division Account Manager.
Jack was a devoted friend to many and he, without question, was always there to help. He was “one of the good guys” and a man of substance.
Jack is survived by a cousin, MaryAnn Moore of Lake Wells Fl. and many dear and special friends whom he regarded as family.
