THOMAS JOSEPH GYSELINCK, “Olee” passed away on May 9th, 2011 at the age of 79. He was born in Totowa, New Jersey on November 21, 1931 and is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beryl R. of Covington, Ga., and three children, Peter Ellen of Lawrenceville, Ga., James Kathy of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Patricia Langdon of Stone Mountain, Ga. and six grandchildren Reid, Rosie, Molly, Drew, Maggie, & Tommy.
Tom attended Passiac Valley High School and then graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey with a degree in Engineering. He was a member of ROTC and became Lieutenant in the Army Air Force and served at Sampson Air Force Base, New York, 1954 and Tripoli, Libya in 1955, 56 and then was honorably discharged. From that point on he worked in the printing ink industry in both New Jersey and Atlanta for 35 years.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 12:00 noon at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Conyers, Ga address below where Tom was a devoted member for the past 17 years. In leui of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2621 Highway 20 SE, Conyers, Ga 30013, 770.483.3669 in loving memory of Tom.
