Tex Olandro Dix

Tex O. Harrison (f/k/a Dix), 72 of Brooks, Georgia passed away peacefully at his home on June 21, 2018.

Mr. Harrison was born October 27, 1945, in Griffin, Georgia, to Travis Dix, Leila Dix & Travis Harrison.

Mr. Harrison served in the United States Coast Guard for many years. In 1970, Mr. Harrison married the love of his life, Linda Irene Chadwick and became an amazing father to his daughter, Terri Lynn Cloud and his son Chad Lindsey Harrison.  He cherished his two grandsons, Landon “Beau” Harrison and Gavin Chadwick Harrison and was smitten by his daughter-in-love, Paige Bailey Harrison.  Mr. Harrison’s family was what he valued most in his life and he will live on thru wonderful memories that were made between them all.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his daughter, Terri Lynn Cloud his son, Chad L. Harrison & daughter-in-love, Paige B. Harrison, two grandsons, Landon “Beau” Harrison and Gavin Chadwick Harrison, two sisters, Amy Sue Harrison Blum and Pat Harrison Pittman, his brother, Larry Harrison, several nieces, nephews, cousins and his very best friend, Ray Cobb.

Mr. Harrison is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Irene Harrison (Dix), his parents and several siblings.

At Mr. Harrison’s request, no service will be held.
