  1. Donald Tyler says:

I met Steve 20 + years ago when he hitched a ride with me from Long Island to Philly. Who knew that would be the start of a solid friendship that lasted into 3 decades and 3 different times we worked together. I will miss him.
    RIP buddy

  2. mark maguire says:

Our hearts go out for you. I knew Steve many years ago – and can relate to his car love. when I first received my Porsche Boxster in 1998 – when Steve was visiting Chicago – he is the Only one that I let drive it.
    God Bless, Mark

  3. Curt Prout says:

I’ve known Steve since the early Baan days latter 1990’s, again at SSA Global and again at Infor. We had some great times and I have some great memories. May he rest in peace and hold a spot for us all somewhere…he just got there first. We will miss him.

  4. Don Drury says:

I remember interviewing and hiring Steve at Baan about 20 years ago. His smile, intelligence, charm and warmth made everyone he dealt with comfortable. We shared a love of music, and Steve never ceased to to amaze me with the breadth of his knowledge and appreciation for the great sounds around us. I last spoke with him early this year when he was feeling great with the treatment cycle he was in, and we shared some laughs and memories of the “olden days”. I miss you buddy, be at peace and Godspeed.

  5. Ken Johnson says:

Steve and I first worked at Integral / DDA in the late 80’s and continued thru Baan and Cordys. So many memories but like Don said – his encyclopedic knowledge of bands and performances kept us entertained on so many road trips over the years. Steve had a mind that could learn anything well and he was not only a great Software professional, he made sure the customer got what he promised them. Sure sad to see he’s gone.
