On Thursday, August 8th, Ronnie lost her year long encounter with multiple health issues. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward, their children, Glen and his wife, Pam, Kim and her husband, Pat Smith, Grandchildren, Michelle and her husband, Ryan Russo, Kevin Ashman, and her brother, Bernard Braun.

Ronnie was born in Hamburg, Germany June 30, 1930, escaping the Nazi’s in 1938 with her late parents, grandparents, and two younger brothers. Bernard survives, the youngest brother, Rolf died soon after arrival in America. Ronnie attended Julia Richman High School and New York University in New York City. She worked as a lingerie buyer in New York. When Ed’s job brought them to Atlanta, she became an employee of C & S Bank, retiring from its successor, Bank of America.

Ronnie was a charter volunteer at Fernbank Museum of Natural History where she donated over 2000 hours until limited by illness.

Ronnie and Ed traveled extensively both domestically and aboard, loved art, theatre, reading and quality time with family and many valued friends and neighbors.

There will be a celebration of Ronnie’s life on Sunday, August 11th from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at their home.
