Rebecca "Beci" Sutton

Rebecca “Beci” Sutton died unexpectedly in Atlanta, Georgia on November 20, 2017 at the age of 79. Beci is survived by her sons David of Atlanta, GA and Jonathan of Amelia Island, Florida and her grandchildren, David “Wheeler” Sutton and Margaret “Maggie” Class Sutton. She is also survived by 3 brothers, Samuel Sutton of Paradise Valley, Arizona, Lewis Sutton of St. Charles, Illinois and David Sutton of Wheaton, Illinois.

Beci was born on July 14, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Samuel and Elaine Sutton. She graduated from Iowa State University in 1960 with a degree in Hospitality Management. After moving to Atlanta in 1996 after nearly 20 years in Virginia, Beci began working for Robinson Humphrey and retired from SunTrust in 2012. Beci was a loving mother and grandmother to her 2 grandchildren, Wheeler and Maggie.

A memorial service is scheduled for November 29th at 11am at Trinity Presbyterian Church, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Beci’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at http://giftfunds.stjude.org/RebeccaSutton
