Michael Galen Treichler, age 48, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2023, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA after a brief battle with internal complications. Mike was born in Lake City, FL on October 24, 1974. He attended John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, GA where he played on the football team. He also attended Georgia Southern University and Kennesaw State University. He was currently employed at PTI Security Systems as an IT Manager of Customer Service and also owned his own business helping the elderly and family members with IT issues known as ITMike.

His family was his world, and he spent a lot of his free time taking them to festivals, activities, and restaurants. He loved to cook, smoke meats, coach his daughter’s basketball team, play poker, and go to concerts. He also enjoyed watching the Florida Gators and the Pittsburgh Steelers and commonly could be found binging the newest Netflix show.

Mike was a devoted husband, father, and son. He is survived by his parents Galen and Georgia Treichler of Milledgeville, GA, loving wife of 13 years Valerie, son Michael and daughters Brooklyn and Lacey of Canton, GA, brothers Ken Treichler of Raceland, LA and David Bennett of Windermere, FL, and In-Laws Richard and Gloria Taylor of Hilton Head, S.C. He will be dearly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Hillside United Methodist Church on April 15,2023 at 2:00 pm in the Celebration Hall at 4474 Towne Lake Pkwy
Woodstock, GA 30189. A meet and greet with the family will be held in the lobby prior to the service.
