Margaret Slanker Wofford

Margaret ‘Peggy’ Slanker Wofford, age 70, died Thursday, May 25th 2023. Ten days before her 71st birthday. Peggy was survived by her daughter, Trixie Walker, and granddaughter, Soni Walker. Peggy lived in the John’s Creek, Atlanta, GA area for 40+ years; 20+ of those years were with her late husband, Jack Wofford. If you ever frequented the Ace Hardware in the old Stein Mart parking lot, now Goodwill (where she also worked at the end) she was probably your cashier. Peggy was quite a character and was loved and cherished by everyone she spoke to, with her stories of her father or what she found thrifting, or whats on T.V. She will forever be in our hearts and in our memories.
