John Charles Speir Sr.

John Charles Speir, 94, residing at Cottage Landings, Carrollton, Ga., died Saturday, August 3. He is survived by daughters, Carol Bob Keller, Margaret Larry Smith, Patricia Bob Townley and son John C Vickie Speir Jr., 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters Catherine Carns and Jewel Young, and special friend Cecile Whiten. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years Lucille Potter Speir. He was retired from ICS. A WW II veteran, he was a Captain in the Army Air Corp, flying 51 missions in the European and African theaters. Memorial gifts may be given to your local Hospice.
