Harry L. Cowan

Harry Lynn Cowan, 82 of Dunwoody, Ga. died Friday, January 27, 2012 following an accident in his home. Mr. Cowan was born March 15, 1929 in Haskell County, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 57 hears, Dorothy Chatterson Cowan; sons, Jay Cowan and John Cowan of Atlanta. Grandchildren; Tyler Cowan and Ginger Cowan of Canmore, Canada. Sister, Mrs. Nancy Larry Earp and many cousins in Texas. He served in the U.S. Army as a 1st. Lt. during the Korean War from 1950 -1954. He was the S.E. Manager for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce before retiring. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 1 p.m. at St. Patricks Episcopal Church, 4755 N. Peachtree Road, Dunwoody, Ga. 30338. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Malachi’s Store House in care of St. Patricks Episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.
