Gloria Claus Stone

Gloria Claus Stone, peacefully passed away March 28, 2021 at the age of 97.

She was born September 13, 1923 in Buffalo, NY. She spent her childhood in New York and Ridgeway, Ontario Canada, then moved to Atlanta after marrying Dr. Steven G. Cline in 1953. Later she married Dr. William D. Stone in 1967 and they enjoyed many wonderful years together in Atlanta and at Lake Allatoona.

She was an accomplished artist, organic gardener, world traveler and a great cook. Her final years were spent at Saint Anne’s Terrace. The family is grateful for the compassionate care she received from their staff and the caregivers from Personal Care.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William Stone; daughters Charlene Crowe and Darlene Moulder; son-in-law John Crowe; and grandchildren David Crowe, Bryn Moulder and Caroline Moulder. She is survived by her siblings; Courtland Claus, Virginia Heinz and Colleen Vincent; children Craig Cline (Liz), Courtney Cline (Liz), Carol Lacy (Douglas), Marlene Cherry (John), Arlene Crump (Russell), Stuart Moulder (Nancy); 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A family service will be held to celebrate her life.
