I knew Eddie Laws from my early teens working for him at Laws Drugstore and later Laws Garden Hills Drugstore. He was a great mentor for me and several other young men that had the opportunity to work at his stores. I have always felt lucky to know him and his entire family. Their daughter, Babe, coached our daughter in soccer. His drugstore was like a family away from home and everyone there were like brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles.
