Ardis Childs Baker

Ardis Childs Baker, 89, of Dunwoody, Ga. passed away peacefully on January 21, 2016 with her family by her side. Ardis was the beloved wife of almost 64 years to Fred Allen Baker, Jr. also of Dunwoody. In addition to her husband, Ardis is survived by two daughters: Miriam Rob Beecher of Manassas, Va and Anne Joel Swartout of Suwanee, Ga.; five grandchildren: Lauren Beecher, Tom Beecher and Rick Beecher all of Manassas, Va., Heath Brittany Swartout of Dacula, Ga and Connor Swartout of Suwanee, Ga. and one great-granddaughter; Ryleigh Swartout of Dacula, Ga. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in her memory to Journey Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
