I consider myself truly blessed to have had the opportunity to call Sharon my friend. Her loving kindness, laughter and words of encouragement have brought so much joy to me and my family. She always made time to pray with and for me. She taught me how to leave troubles to God and go to bed. I will always remember her morning messages. When my aunt died Sharon told me to rejoice because death may have taken her body but God has her soul and those words are giving me strength in her passing. I am grateful to have so many precious memories of Sharon and I know she is resting in the arms of God.

  22. Penni says:

My sweet and loving auntie. You will be missed immensely. You were more than an auntie to me. You were the big sister that I always wanted and needed. I will miss your laughter, compassion, and our long conversations about nothing and everything! LOL!! Not only do I share my birthday with you but also your love for life. I remember talking to you about moving to Rhode Island and how I didn’t want to go. You told me to think positive, look for the good, pray everyday and the days will get better and easier. At the time, I didn’t want to hear that. I was feeling so many emotions including anger and sadness. You told me change was good and that it keeps life exciting. Your uplifting prayers and daily inspirations helped me deal with everyday life situations. You would say, Penni, ” Refuse to let anything or anybody steal your joy”. My fondest memory of you is one of our many conversations about dieting and at that time I was eating peanut M&Ms and you were eating cake. LOL!!! Auntie, my life will not be the same now that you are gone.

Keisha and Franchesca, I am so sorry for your loss. Dealing with this pain can be such a struggle. Your mother was such a source of strength for many. She is now one of God’s angels. I am praying that God will comfort you and be with you completely in the weeks and months ahead. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:18.
