Rhonda Jean Seaman (née Harris) of Murrells Inlet, SC died peacefully on August 4, 2019 in Atlanta, GA at the age of 69.

Rhonda is survived by her two sons, Gregory Seaman of Alabaster, AL and Kirk Campbell of Atlanta, GA and their spouses, Ashley and Leigh-Ann; her sister, Deryl Olson of Covington, GA; her brother, Scott Harris, of Murrells Inlet; and her grandchildren, Anabelle, Charlie, and Laurel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Winston and Beatrice Harris of Spartanburg, SC.

Rhonda was born on January 4, 1950 in Providence, RI to Winston and Beatrice Harris. She graduated from Jericho High School, Jericho, New York in 1968. Rhonda worked in many fields including banking, technical writing, and property management.

Rhonda loved people and made friends easily. She boasted many long-time friendships including those to her sisters by choice, Karen Palermo and Carol Finn, lasting over 60 and 50 years respectively. She had other close friendships which lasted decades.

Rhonda loved to dance. She loved Atlanta Falcons football and Atlanta Braves baseball. She loved to travel, especially to the beach. Rhonda even lived in St. Maarten for a spell. Eventually, she settled in at Jensen’s of Murrells Inlet, SC, a community she truly cherished.

A memorial party is scheduled for 3pm, September 1st at the Magnolia Clubhouse at Jensens, Murrells Inlet. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Rhonda’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Alzheimer’s Association at https://www.alz.org/
