Jolynn (Jodi) Jay Stodola

Jodi was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Oct. 26, 1948. She was the oldest daughter of Jasiel Anne (Andrews) Stodola and Robert D. Stodola. She was preceded in death by her parents Jasiel and Robert and her brother Martin S. Stodola, along with her grandparents Anna and Fred Andrews, Tillie and Edward Stodola.

Jodi was baptized in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1949 and confirmed at St Michael’s Lutheran Church, Chamblee, GA. She attended Chamblee High School and graduated in 1966. Jodi was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Dunwoody, GA.

She is survived by her brothers, Christopher D Stodola of Jacksonville, FL, Robert A. (Christin) Stodola of Cumming, GA, Troy M. Stodola of Monroe, GA., Karen and Bill Taylor of Cumming, Ga.; nieces and nephews, Melanie Phillips, Jennifer Taylor, Brianna and Michael Elrod, Amanda and Eli Howard, Chaz Stodola, Corey Stodola and Miranda Stodola; and great-nieces and nephews, Owen Elrod, Easton Elrod, Lyndley Elrod, Aubrie Howard and McKenna Howard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 29th, 2022, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross, GA 30092. Pastor Jay Bergstresser and Rev. Thomas Kenny will conduct the service with communion.
