John Owen Cullifer
John Owen Cullifer, of Lilburn, GA, went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2018. He was born on August 22, 1950, in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Edeltraut Cullifer. He is survived by his wife Gwen, son Jonathan Cullifer, daughter Erin Wright and her husband Eric, brother Paul Cullifer and his wife Susan, and sister Ilona Cullifer and her husband Arnold.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, July 27, at 2:00 PM, in the Cecil B. Day Chapel at Perimeter Church, at 9500 Medlock Bridge Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30097. Visitation to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

John has been a very good friend of mine ever since I first met him in the early 80’s.
I could go on and on about all the cool stuff we did together but I just want to leave it at the most important thing.
John and I had many conversations about various religions, the bible, and what happens when you die, over many years, and of course John had no fear of mortal death because he knew where he was going, as do all Christians. John is now pain free and with Jesus. That was important to him.

John was a very good friend and business associate for many years. I met him 1991, while he worked at Pattillo where he guided me on many of my business decisions on our use of warehousing space. John ask me to go to a men’s bible study at Chili’s, where I learned John knew God . We traveld out west to Sas Katchewaun , north and South Dakota. He was my friend, a good listener, smart, loved his family. Had many laughs and discussions. I’m not finished with John , I will see him again some day.
