  1. Tammy Washington says:

My condolences to Greg’s family and his love ones. The light from a candle is often blown out too soon and although there is darkness- light will come from loving memories. RIP Greg, I will miss your soft spoken voice telling me stories that always left me laughing.

  2. William Rozier says:

So sorry for your loss. We have only recently learned Mr. Farrars passing. He was a compatriot of ours here in the Cheaha Chapter of the Alabama Sons of the American Revolution and our meetings had been suspended due to Covid restrictions. Please know that the family is in our thoughts and prayers.

  3. Leisa says:

    Hi my dear brother,

today is your birthday and I am saddened that we are not spending it together as we have done so many years in the past. I was so looking forward to surprising you for the Big 6-0!
I miss talking to you, sharing life’s stories and family drama, collecting our annual’ Chips’ together and scratch -off ticket competitions
And, mostly, I wish I could have been there for you, as your big sister, to save you from that awful tragedy. That’s what sisters are supposed to do for their only brothers. I feel I failed you in so many ways over the years but you stood by me and loved me no matter what.
After Debbie died I know how terribly sad you were to lose your baby sister and I vowed that every time we talked I would never hang up without telling you I loved you. It gives me comfort now to know the last words we shared were “I love you” and “I love you, too.” I will continue to say that every night when I go to bed because I know you can hear me and I hope you and Debbie are together again. I love you my kind, sweet brother.
