Frank Gerard Woods Jr. passed away at home on February 15, 2018 in Marietta, GA. Frank was born on June 8, 1926 in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Frank was known for his great sense of humor, his mischievous smile and his quick wit. He was a giving person and loved helping others. Frank was a long time member of Marietta Golden K Kiwanis.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Audrey Mueller of Johns Creek, GA; Deborah Woods of Pt. Richmond, CA; Tracy Woods of Willow Creek, CA; and Allison Woods of Petaluma, CA;, grandchildren, Rob Mueller of Atlanta, GA and Rae Mueller of Atlanta, GA..
A Celebration of the Life service is to be held on March, 3 at 1:00pm with a reception to follow in the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, 1673 Jamerson Rd. Marietta, GA 30066.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations in Frank’s memory to be made to Marietta Golden K Kiwanis; care of Golden K, Bill Clark treasurer 547 Charing Cross Dr. Marietta, GA 30062.

The entire Kiwanis Community is in mourning over the loss of a wonderful, capable leader. Frank was an inspiration to me and others, since he was always at the forefront of whatever the Club was doing. He was instrumental in starting new Clubs and held dual membership as a result. Frank cannot be replaced, but his memory will ever be before us, as he has shown us how it is done. Godspeed, Frank Woods. Well done, good and faithful servant.
