Betty Louise Crumley
Crumley, Betty L. (1925 – 2018) died
peacefully in the Roswell home of her daughter
on December 31. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she
was married to Charles C. Crumley, her husband
of 72 years until his death in 2016. Betty suffered
from several medical conditions toward the end
of her life, and was hospitalized multiple times
prior to her death at age 93. It still came as a shock
to her family who watched her tenaciously hold
onto her house, her garden, and all the precious
things she held dear. Preceded in death by her
husband Charles C. Crumley and grandson Scott
Ressa, she is survived by her daughter Carole Ressa,
son Steve Crumley, grandsons Steven Ressa,
Michael Ressa, Dylan Crumley, and great-grandson
Zachary Ressa. A memorial service will be planned
for a future date. Her spry personality will be
missed by all. Online condolences may be expressed

Betty was a wonderful neighbor. She was a great gardener and an inspiration to all of us at Garden Club where she was a founding member. She was always the one to decorate the entrances for Christmas and directed the landscape crews to keep us looking our best. A fantastic neighbor and I – and the neighborhood- will truly miss her.
Yes Betty was wonderful! All of us at Garden Club loved her “spry” personality! She served as our treasurer for a mere 30 plus years! I so enjoyed visiting with Betty and Charlie in their beautiful home over the last few years when Betty was no longer able to make it to GC meetings. My sympathy to Carole,Steve, and the rest of the family! God bless Betty and Charlie and all of you!
